I Blame Kim Kardashian

Kim lovin' her Chanel bag
from Business Week:
A grim-looking Kim Kardashian said "intuition" led her to end her 72-day-old marriage, insisting … there was no "right or wrong" way to handle the situation…
"I think when you know so deep in your heart that you just have to listen to your intuition, and follow your heart," Kardashian replied. "There's no right or wrong thing to do."
The first question that pops in my brain when I read this is: "What does this have to do with Business?" And the second was:

"Girls got BACK!"

Wait. That wasn't a question. I'm teetering on losing my train of thought. Easily done in hotel rooms on the interweb thingy.

The article finishes:
Kardashian rose to fame after a sex tape featuring her and a former boyfriend went public. She parlayed her notoriety into modeling gigs, a lucrative reality TV empire and fashion and beauty lines.
We care what Kim says because WHY?! She made a sex tape?! People care about what you say because you make a porn movie?! I missed that memo.

Still grappling with the discipline of staying on subject…

Intuition can mislead. It can lie to you. And artists' intuition is the most deceptive of all. Intuition, left unchecked, will kick you in your privates. So much of learning in the past 40 years is intuitive-based. Computer systems and software are all marketed by their "intuitive design." That means you don't really have to think deeply about using the interface. Usage is self-evident.

Singing ain't.
Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance*. Proverbs 1:5
Just not from idiots who own expensive bags.
