La Monnaie Parsifal | Second Look

Things are heating up.

Only a few more hours and I'll be sitting in the make up chair.

Here are the Press Photos just released. All photos Bernd Uhlig
About 50 minutes into Parsifal, Jan-Hendrik finally gets to stand in the light.

This is going to be one of a hell of a Parsifal.
My god Castellucci is a genious !
Music is beautiful ... thanks Haenchen!
(you see we belgian are sometimes strong/or-not-always-so-strongin politics .. but we find most of the time a concensus)

And of course where would we be without our singers !
Wish you a good (multiple) make-up and a nice evening tomorrow !
I am sure mine will be great.
p.s. thanks for those wonderful pictures !

Same from me. I wish you to impress them all tomorrow! We will be supporting you. In return, we will be expecting you to turn and we will gladly follow your move). ;o)

We've just received our last instructions : extra actions have been added. It is exciting, never the same, always different.

Goodnight and see you tomorrow.

Yes, things heating up, last night before the opening night, hope you'll find some good sleep, dear Andrew..
Like we say in french, Bonne m**** or in dutch, Toi Toi Toi, or in german, Hals und Beinbruch für dich.. Kann nicht schaden..
But I'm not worrying, because the Générale was not perfect, the Première will be!
See you tomorrow on stage, when I'll wait with all the others that you don't forget this time to make your turn!! ;-)
Cheers!
Sacha

Cheers, Andrew ! You'll just be great. As my singing teacher tells me at each lesson: "Just trust your voice". Yours is so superb, it will bring tears to all and each spectator tomorrow. We all (the 175 extras) wish you every success

I'm the wife of one of the extras and happen to be italian. Thanks for this great blog that allowed me/us to follow the artistic production from the inside! For tonight, our very italian "Break a leg" is
"In the mouth of the wolf!". To which you answer "May the wolf die!"
In bocca al lupo - Crepi il lupo!
